Verification alternatives and search indexing
A Search Console URL-prefix property covers only its specified protocol, hostname and path prefix. HTML tag/file verification methods apply to URL-prefix properties, not Domain properties. Wave has no dedicated verification-tag or root-file control. Media uploads do not publish verification files at the website root. Use DNS verification or ask an existing Search Console owner for access.
Verification does not publish your website, remove noindex or guarantee indexing. When you’re ready for search indexing, review Settings → Search and the relevant page/entry Search and sharing settings, then publish your chosen changes. Use the published primary HTTPS address to obtain https://<domain>/sitemap.xml and submit it in Search Console’s Sitemaps screen. Use URL inspection and Page indexing to check actual crawl/indexing status; submission is not an indexing guarantee.
Open Studio, then choose your website to open Website Manager. Controls depend on your access.
