Who manages your domain and DNS?

Your registrar controls registration, renewal and nameserver delegation. Changing nameservers to Cloudflare does not transfer registration; your registrar can remain GoDaddy, Namecheap or another provider. Cloudflare becomes authoritative for live DNS. Wave serves your website through your connected hosting; your external email provider still handles mail.

You retain independent access to your Cloudflare account. Open https://dash.cloudflare.com/, select the customer account and domain, then DNS → Records to manage TXT, MX, CNAME and other records. After delegation, changes in the registrar’s old DNS zone do not update live DNS. Website content or Admin access does not grant Cloudflare/DNS authority. If the domain is missing or access is denied, ask the domain/account owner for appropriate provider access. Connecting or disconnecting Wave does not transfer these responsibilities.

Open Studio, then choose your website to open Website Manager. Controls depend on your access.
