Preserve email before changing nameservers

Before nameserver cutover, review and export the existing DNS zone, then copy and check all required records in Cloudflare. The automatic quick scan may miss records. Confirm MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, mail-host records and third-party verification TXT/CNAME values with your email/service providers; keep a recovery copy. Use the providers’ exact names, values and priorities. Do not overwrite unrelated records or create duplicate/conflicting SPF policies for the same name; have your mail provider reconcile an existing policy.

Wave’s connection review concerns the exact website hostname and checks mail dependencies. It is not a complete email migration or a guarantee that Cloudflare imported everything. Review proposed website-record replacements, retain recovery information and check mail with your provider after cutover. Manage independent services directly in Cloudflare even after disconnecting Wave.

Open Studio, then choose your website to open Website Manager. Controls depend on your access.
